How We Got StartedUsing Scientists’ Meetings • Overlapped science and literacy because science was not being taught in elementary classrooms • Explored overlapping through Dr. Saul and colleagues’ foundational work • Teachers selected a focus on scientists’ meetings • Two types evolved as evident in video clips
