FQPA of 1996 • Draft year: August 1996 • Amendment years: Not amended • THE FQPA is a National act • Function: The FQPA changed the way that the EPA evaluates and regulates pesticides. It amended the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. This act led to improvements in public health and environmental protection.
