What to Look for in a College • Size • Cost • Public v. Private • Location • Instate v. Out-of-State • Setting • Special Programs and Extracurriculars • Specialty Schools (i.e. military, art, etc.) Remember College Visits in the Spring are not excused absences for Seniors

The Transcript Release/ApplicationChecklist Form Identifying Information Application Due Date Progress of Application Signatures (Parent Signature required if under 18) Reminders $3.00 Fee for each Transcript
Components of the Transcript Release/ApplicationChecklist Form Teacher Recommendations • Only required if letters need to be sent with transcript Counselor Recommendations • Insight forms and resume need only be submitted once • Insight forms are available on the LCHS Guidance website or on Family Connections
Requesting Transcripts & Letters of Recommendation • Complete the Transcript Release/Application Checklist Form • This form is your directions to us for completing your application • 1 Form per Transcript • BE THOROUGH! • Talk to teachers/counselors/community members about RECOMMENDATIONS
