Registration and Staffing Process Similar to Level 1 - But..... Essential that every day is delivered by the same tutor Instead of deciding the dates and then looking for a tutor Decide a time frame, find a tutor and then agree mutually convenient dates – 4 month lead time Assessment date to be fixed at this time as with Level 1 Inform CEM CEM appoints assessors 11
Indicative Budget • GNAS fee per Learner £110 • Say 10 learners £1100 • Venue hire (e.g. £125 a day) £875 • Tutor fee (£200 a day as Level 1) £1200 • Assessors fees (as Level 1) £450 • Admin costs £250 • Total £3875 • Approximate cost per Learner £400
Assessment Process • Pre planned assessment day • Approximately 2.5 hours each • 30 minute Observed Coaching Session • 30 minute Observation and Analysis • Questioning on practical sessions • Questioning on Equipment • Professional discussion
Roll Out Plan • Timetable • Publicity 30th September 12 10th November 12 • Course applications 1st October 12 • 1st courses can start 1st Feb 13
Roll Out Plan • Course will require ‘fine tuning’ during roll out period • Initial courses to be tutored and assessed by a limited list of Coach Educators • Nominated by NCO Ed • Staff list to be expanded gradually over 1st year • Trained by existing staff • Rate determined by experience and demand
