  3. Who I Am Objective: Create lists that provide narrative information.Materials: Worksheet, Pencil/PenDirections: Complete the activity by filling in the spaces answering questions about the topic. Complete the following activity to tell me more about you!

  4. Bio PoemObjective: Compose a Bio Poem that provides an autobiography. Materials: White Paper, Pencil/Pen, Coloring PencilsDirections: Before writing your poem, draw a picture of your face above your poem. You do not need to number the lines. • Line 1 First name only • Line 2 Four Traits to Describe Yourself • Line 3 Brother/Sister of… • Line 4 Lover of …(three ideas) • Line 5 Who feels…(three things) • Line 6 Who needs…(three things) • Line 7 Who gives…(three things) • Line 8 Who fears…(three things) • Line 9 Who would like to…(three things) • Line 10 Resident of…(your city) on (your street) • Line 11 Last Name

Shades of SummerObjective: To describe through drawing and narrative writing about your summer activities.Materials – White Paper, Pencil, Coloring Pencils Directions: • Draw a picture of your face. Make sure you draw large circles where you would normally draw your eyes. You will draw the activities you participated in this summer in the “shades”. • Write a narrative paragraph about your summer activities underneath your picture. • After you have written your narrative, complete the following: Make a blue box around five (5) nouns. Place a yellow star above two (2) pronouns. Underline in green three (3) prepositional phrases. Place a purple dot above three (3) adjectives. Circle four (4) action verbs in red.
