  2. Inserting Text Boxes • Text boxes allow you to move text to anywhere on a page • Text doesn’t have to stay on a specific line

  3. Inserting Text Boxes • To insert: • Insert - Text Box • The mouse cursor changes to a plus sign • Click and drag your mouse to create a box

  4. Text Box Borders • Text boxes automatically have a border when inserted into a document • To take away a text box border: • Select the text box • Format – Text Box • Change the line color to “No line”

  5. Grouping Text Boxes and Images • Two text boxes/images can be grouped and moved together • Hold down the Shift key and click on the text box and corresponding image • Right click on both images • Grouping - Group
