  3. Present Tense Verbs • When translating the subject can be found in the verb. • An “o” ending means I am _____ing. • A “s” ending means You are _____ing. • Using words like ego(I) and tu(you) are OPTIONAL

  8. Third Conjugation-WEAK “i” verbs end init ex: currit, bibit • Fourth Conjugation-STRONG “i” verbs end in it ex: dormit, venit, audit

  9. Rules to Form GENERAL RULE: DROP t and add endings exceptions: * ‘A’ verbs 1st Person singular • drop at and addo * ‘STRONG’ i verbs 3rd Person plural • drop it and addiunt * ‘WEAK ‘ i verbs 3rd Person plural • drop it and addunt

  10. Form the following: • he is sitting • you are sitting • they are sitting • he praises • I am praising • he is sleeping • they sleep
