What is NIOS Board and Online NIOS Admission<br><br><br>National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is a board that is established with the sole purpose of giving education to those students who have left studies for any reason. It is based on distance and open learning system.<br><br>NIOS conducts board examination at 2 levels, which are secondary (which is equivalent to CBSE, ICSE, SSLC and other 10th board examinations) and senior secondary (which is equivalent to any other 12th national and state board examination).<br><br>Students who have failed in class 9th and 11th standard and want to take admission in 10th or 12th standard directly can choose NIOS. <br><br>Online NIOS Admission<br><br>To get NIOS admission 2021, you are required to fill the online application form. All the documents can be collected before filling the form. Following is the step-by-step guide to fill online NIOS admission form: <br><br>1.tRegistration: Visit the NIOS official website i.e., www.nios.ac.in. Fill the details and click on the submit button. The next step is to fill the 4 sections, which are: Basic Details, Personal Details, Subject Selection, and Study center selection. Please fill in the details carefully.<br>2.tNecessary details: Details like the fatheru2019s name, motheru2019s name, mobile no., and email ID. Click on u201cGenerate OTPu201d and verify it. Also, fill the personal details like Permanent Address, Present Address, caste, category, etc.<br>3.tUpload Documents Carefully: All the original ID proofs are to be scanned and upload. Click on the Next button. After doing all this, Username and password will be generated.
