Inspiration: 28 Days Later It’s For Your Own Good A couple of friends are living a normal life until one day, whilst out shopping, a group of people bundle them into a van/car and knock them out. They wake up after a few hours in the middle of a forest in pain and confused to why this has happened to them. One of them looks around his surroundings and notices an envelope placed on the floor beside him. He opens the envelope and reads it to the other and it reads ‘It’s for your own good’. They don’t understand its meaning and just want to go back home. They eventually find their way home to the deserted streets of their home town. At first they just believes it’s a quiet day but then they realise no-one is in the town. Whilst searching the streets a masked individual grabs one of them and the friend hits the masked man. Eventually they realise he means no harm and he asks why they’re openly walking the town’s streets. The men say they don’t know and understand what he means, with the masked man replying ‘What? You don’t know what happen?’ Keith Manners - Lou Peterson - Camera – Josh Greenway Sound - 5-10 minutes I imagine it would be shown at a movie convention to give a taster of an upcoming film because it sets the scene but ends on a cliff hanger The age range is 20-30 male audience who are interested in thrillers that keep you hooked because you want to find out why a problem has occurred and how it will be sorted.
