  5. Rhyme Create a rhyme or song that includes the information you need to learn. Ex) • Conjunction junction, what’s your function? Hooking up words, and phrases, and clauses.

  6. Acronyms Form words by using the first letter from each word to be recalled. Ex) FANBOYS (coordinate conjunctions) for/and/nor/but/or/yet/so

  8. Reminding Sentences • Make up a sentence with a reminding word and definition of what you want to recall. Ex) ET the extraterrestrial came from beyond the stars.

  10. Visual Representation • Draw a picture that has a strong visual connection/reminder of the word. Superman flew over the cars. super=over
