    1. Diagnostic Value of CT Enteroclysis Compared with Conventional Enteroclysis in Patients with Crohn’s Disease

    2. Objective To assess diagnostic value of CT enteroclysis compared with conventional enteroclysis in patients with Crohn’s disease

    3. Crohn’s disease Granulomatous inflammatory disease characterised by transmural and segmental involvement of intestinal wall Complications: extension to adjacent mesentry and organs, fistulas, abscesses and stenoses are found in approximately 40% of these patients Some require prompt and accurate treatment to relieve symptoms and minimise complications. Radiology is pivotal in diagnosis and management of Crohn’s disease.

    4. Imaging methods Conventional enteroclysis CT CT enteroclysis No extraluminal information No distention of small bowel Overcome individual deficiencies

    5. Subjects and Methods Prospective study. Fifty Consecutive patients with histologically proven Crohn’s disease selected. 26 women; 24 men. Age range, 18-52 years. All underwent CT enteroclysis and conventional enteroclysis during symptomatic stage of their disease. Techniques were compared to assess presence and extent of disease.
