  1. Genesis 4:1-2 Adam and Eve had two boys. Cain a farmer. Able a shepherd. Click for next slide

  2. Genesis 4:3 Cain offered the fruit of the ground unto the Lord. “Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” 1 John 3:12 Click for next slide

  3. Genesis 4:4 Abel offered a lamb and God was pleased. A sin offering, recognizing that we are sinners and by the blood of the Lamb we have forgiveness of sins. Click for next slide

  4. Hebrews 11:4 “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.” Click for next slide
