  8. Relationship Good listener, supportive environment, relax & fun, enjoy being with you , enjoy working with you.

  9. Leadership is influence It isn’t about titles, power or positions It is about getting people to help you…. when they are not obligated to do so. People will respond better to your leadership if they like you than they don’t like you

  10. Do and follow what I say ! I am a 40 years’ Lion !! I am the Zone Chairperson !!! I don’t like him to be there !!!! I am in charge here !!!!! If I don’t hear from you, I assume you agree to my proposal !!!!!! Control- oriented . Dominating discussion and decisions. Create fear and manipulation, through titles, status, positions and power. Bully or intimidate.

  11. Power crazy habits.. Dictator Autocrat Fault finder These type of leadership very often habitually cultivate a fear culture, a “yes sir” management style, a speak less or speechless organization, a dare-not-try workforce, move toward a “sure lose” foot path.

  12. Bear in mind….. Lions don’t get paid from Lions Clubs. Lions Club is not the only activity that people can join to invest their time, energies and talents in a good cause……… They do compare ! They set priority too!!

  20. DON’T Don’t lose sight of the team’s goals Don’t cause more problems by ignoring tensions in your team Don’t delay your action of solving the problems Don’t lose your own temper Don’t blame and find fault

  21. “$%#@^&*%! “ • Response from Lion Leaders …. • This is personal , nothing to do with the club. • You take side. • You avoid. Play “don’t know” . • The other party is more powerful, better don’t offend him. • Sorry, this is not my cup of tea . • The weak party is always wrong.

  22. Bewareof making assumptions at all costs ! Assumption is arrogance. Assumption is error. Assumption is the mother of mistake. If I don’t hear from you, I assume you agree to my proposal If I don’t hear from you, I assume you have no objection

  37. Have you experienced……. Lions form their own circle chit-chatting? Lions “Yam Sing” with one another ? Lions leave the functions hall ? Lions taking photographs? Lions eating their foods ? Lions talking on the hand phone? Are you one of those ?

  38. Is that what we call….. Good reputation ? Good manners ? Good behaviors ? Good etiquette ? Respect ? High moral character ?

  39. What difference does it makes when we…. Compare our value to other societies or organizations…… We are no better off than them and yet we term ourselves “high moral character and good reputation”

  40. Lions leaders failed to remember that We are Lions and We are not similar to other societies or organizations We have our own set of values

  41. Know when to be silent. Respect authority. Don’t eat, drink , chit chatting while official matter is in progress. It is an insult to the VIP. Public will continue to view you as an association that is good at “drink, eat and yam-sing”. Is that the image and reputation you want to project ?

  42. Introduction of VIP Do it well Keep it short Do it quick ( in one or two minutes) Long introduction bored the audience mentally and it cause damage to the VIP presentation
