Revize How to get started editing your Department web page
Department Page Template • Every page will contain a link to appropriate catalog pages • Recommend no more than 7 tabs: Home Page, Faculty, Syllabi, Textbooks, Extra Credit, Events • Tabs need to be generic enough that they will not need frequent updates. • Determine in advance what information needs to be displayed and how it needs to be organized.
Procedure for Populating Department Page • Notify Rebecca Bell and submit list of tabs for department page • Be prepared to populate tab pages within 10 days of notifying Rebecca • Rebecca or Jeff McDonald will add information for tabs and notify Jennifer Goolsby • Jennifer Goolsby will contact you to arrange appointment for one-on-one training in your office • Jennifer will assign a username and password to you for editing applicable pages
Revize account • Recommended that no more than two people/department have access to edit web page. • Individual accounts can be created for individual faculty pages. • Quick reference instructions: www.midland.edu/docs/Revize_Web_Page_Editing.pdf www.midland.edu > Employees > Helpful Links > “Website Editing Instructions”
