  1. Guidelines for Reviewing AHC Forum Posters “Research is a vital component of training tomorrow’s healthcare providers and delivering excellent services today.” Department of Research

  2. Our Research Vision Mission of the Research Department is • to promote multidisciplinary, lifelong learning that enhances the quality of care delivered and improves outcomes for our patients, their families, and our community. We believe the best way to achieve this mission is to partner with our fellow associates, affiliates, and students in a way that: • Builds upon clinical enterprise (rather than doing research separately from clinical delivery), • Plays to our strengths (i.e., focuses on quality of care, informatics, access to diverse patient population), and • Elicits multiple utilities for a single project (e.g., meets needs of research, medical education, quality improvement). This means that we work side-by-side with investigators to plan, implement, analyze, and report on research studies. We act as a central resource that coordinates efforts, identifies resources, and provides support services.
