  1. Building TECH Philanthropy Week Branding Meeting

  2. Presentation Agenda • What is Building TECH • Four Goals • Project Structure • Where we are currently • Branding • Future Plans

  3. What is Building TECH? • “Building TECH is a student-led initiative, spearheaded by the Georgia Tech Student Foundation, created to increase student awareness of the importance of philanthropic giving.”

  4. Four Goals • Coordinate the single largest visual and promotional event to date on Georgia Tech's campus • Convey the magnitude of how alumni and friends of the Institute have benefited Georgia Tech. • Instill in our peers the importance of giving back to the Georgia Tech community. • Communicate the vision and message of the Georgia Tech Student Foundation: "Moving Forward, by Giving Back". The Building TECH strategic plan has been developed around four primary goals.

  5. Project Structure

  6. Branding – Considerations • Independence • Building TECH is a student-led initiative, working with the Office of Development, Alumni Association, and Communications and Marketing • Recognition • Currently Building TECH has been constructed as a distinct entity; logo, color schemes, and iconography separate of the involved partner organizations • Confusion • We don’t want any confusion with other initiatives (for example, all of the signage around construction sites which state “Philanthropy at Work”)
