  5. Language Arts Reading: Benchmark Advance Reader’s Workshop -whole class & small groups Writing: Narrative, Informative, Opinion, and Descriptive Speaking: Reports shared orally.

  7. Social Studies • McGraw-Hill Making A New Nation • US History (Pre-Columbian to 1850) • States and Capitals (Quiz on regions and summative test on all 50 states and capitals)

  9. Art for All Expose students to art history, art appreciation and art techniques. PTO Art (K-5) Tsivikas - Fridays starting 9/23/19 Every other Friday -10 Lessons If you would like to volunteer, please let us know via email!

  10. P.E. Legarza PE (THANK YOU, PTO!) Make sure students wear appropriate PE clothing and shoes on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

  11. Makerspace Ms. Jennifer Kwa ---- Room 23 Introduce the design thinking Incorporate with curriculum to help solidify concepts.

  12. TECHNOLOGY Computer Lab once a week (if needed) Tsivikas - Wednesdays 1:30 We are 1:1 this year. Each class has a Chromebook cart. Students have their own google account to use at school and for school assignments.
