GENERAL INFORMATION • Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007.-2013., Priority 1: Fostering of innovations across the BSRIBI NET - INTERCOUNTRY BUSINESS INCUBATOR NETWORK“ • The Lead partner: Riga Planning Region    • Implementing period: December, 2009 - June, 2012  • Aims of project: • IBI Net Project aims at establishment and strengthening the transnational business incubator network in BSR – the platform for continuous exchange of information, knowhow and technologies in order to foster development of innovative and export oriented SMEs in the Baltic Sea region. 

  3. WhyandHow • Similar Aims • But different ‘point of views’ • Exchange of project results • First step: • Project Cooperation during the DISKE Midterm conference in Greifswald

  4. The Association • The aim is to strengthen and to improve an incubator network in the Baltic Sea Area • The association will establish • Knowledge transfer • Common projects • Soft landing points for our customers • Etc.

  5. IBI Net Association initiative should have ownership and be the obvious driving force for development and implementation of relevant project activities. • This Association will become the natural hub for a structured approach to the development issues high-lighted in the DISKE and IBI Net project. structure and commitment from a critical mass of participating BIs most of the suggested recommendations will fall through.
