  2. 1. Camera Body • Keeps light out, holds all camera parts

  3. 2. Shutter Release Button • Activates shutter (takes picture)

  4. 3. Film Advance Lever • Moves film to the next exposure after taking a picture

  5. 4. Shutter Speed Dial • Controls the amount of time for shutter to open & close (light can hit the film)

  6. 5. Hot Shoe • Holds the flash and synchronizes it with the shutter

  7. 6. Viewfinder • Used to compose the photograph

  8. 7. ASA/ISO Set to level of film sensitivity to light

  9. 8. Film Rewind Knob • Used to rewind film and open the camera

  10. 9. Aperture (Inside the lens) Controls the amount of light hitting film

  11. 10. Lens • Collects and focuses light

  12. 11. Focusing Ring • Focuses image seen through the viewfinder

  13. 12. Aperture Ring • Controls the size of the lens opening (how much light gets through)
