Paved Roadway Surface Remediation Program Budget for 2014 Box and Basin Programs increased over 2013 largely due to funds carried over from 2013, and partly because there were unfinished projects. Several Bids are already on the street and will be awarded later in May, and most of the construction of roads will begin in June. Osburn has already begun its 2014 work, which will be completed very early this summer

Ongoing LessonsWe are still seeing some communications issues between the Program Office, the Jurisdictions, local Utilities and the general Public.Part of the Resolution is we have received the Long Term Roads Program Plans from each Jurisdiction. These plans will be conveyed to the Utilities and Public to start discussions for projects in upcoming years.Some Roads Projects are being deferred just to accommodate the installation of subsurface infrastructure before new pavement is placed. There are a few cases, where utility projects are being expedited to accommodate Road plans.
