Camera Settings for Intra - Oral Photographs: • Turn Camera / Flash on • Make sure distance is set to approximately one foot (0.30m) - Figure 5 - • Focus on canine by moving forward and backward • Take Exposure
Camera Settings for Extra - Oral Photographs: • Turn Camera / Flash on • Make sure distance is set to approximately three feet (1.0 m) - Figure 6 - • Make sure patient is in focus (by moving forward / backward) • Take Exposure • Do not move too far away from patient; the image may become underexposed as the flash may not be powerful enough
Setting the Flash for the Intra - and Extra - Oral Photographs: • Turn the flash on • No settings need to be adjusted • Please note: turning the camera off before the Flash Unit has been switched off will result in the Flash turning itself on and off whenever the camera is
If in doubt • The camera will also take pictures on auto mode ‘P’ BUT • Standardisation of magnification is more difficult • depth of field is reduced • Please do read the manual, there is more to the camera than this ‘quick start’ manual
