  4. UK -SPEC • EPC represented on Steering Group and Output Standards Task Group • New document launched on 1st December • Closer working with ETB and EC(UK)

  5. Marketing the Profession • Maintain high profile in press and parliament • New award for outstanding contribution to Engineering Education • Working with RAEng on Ethics • New Working Groups established

  6. New Working Groups • WG on Communications - both internal and external • WG on Admissions to Universities

  7. The Mathematics Problem • Working with LTSN Engineering • Working with Mathematics colleagues

  8. Operation of the EPC Committee • Committee meetings restructured and employment practice being improved • Internal communication review commenced • Future relationship with Sectorial Groups being explored
