  3. A Hearty Welcome Lawrence Alma Tadema nace en Holanda, se forma en Amberes y es en Londres dónde alcanza su plenitud. Pintor encuadrado en el periodo victoriano tardío, su estilo es clásico académico. Su pasión por las culturas clásicas queda perfectamente reflejada en la perfección técnica de sus pinturas. Increíblemente olvidado, su obra se ha vuelto a revalorizar hace sólo cuatro décadas.
