Important basic information • Simulation Day: Saturday, April 16, 8:30 am to 12:00 noon, here in MH 201 • Procedures • Rules of procedure are more informal, but we follow the UN Security Council rules for debate (a constant moderated caucus) • Your goal is to draft a resolution that can be passed • You may circulate ideas on the website beforehand • Voting Procedures in the real Security Council • Procedural votes vs. substantive (resolutions) • Resolutions: see handout C.
