PowerPoint: Visual Appeal • Use contrasting, yet complementary colors • Use text sparingly • Minimize or avoid • Animated text and sound • Fancy transitions
PowerPoint: Interactive Use • Stimulate discussion • Include abbreviated main points on blank slide • Leave out points on handout • Have learners identify what’s missing
