Page Style \pagestyle{style} • LaTeX supports three pre-defined header/footer • plain: prints the page numbers on the bottom of the page, in the middle of the footer. • headings: prints the current chapter heading and the page number in the header on each page. • empty: sets both the header and the footer to be empty. \thispagestyle{style} CC510 - 2009
Spaces • Whitespace characters(=blank, tab) • Several consecutive whitespace characters are treated as one space. • An empty line between two lines of text defines the end of a paragraph. (\\) CC510 - 2009
Special Characters • Special characters • The following symbols are reserved characters. • If you enter them directly in your text, they will normally not print. • To print them, a prefix backslash\have to be added. # $ % ^ & _ { } ~ CC510 - 2009
