Blushing up communication skill is the most important. (singing, game, activity・・・) ・Some teacher cannot speak English enough. ・Konglish (ex: gagman, eye-shopping, autobis・・・ )
China English education in elementary school was introduced in 2001. They learn English from third grade,(urban area, first grade), four periods in a week. English is an obliged subject from elementary school to graduate school. They have to pass English examination to graduate. All university have same curriculum. (national syllabus) No TOEIC TEST, nor official English examination. There are very few native speaker teachers. English as a communication skill is not enough.
Taiwan More than a half of kindergartens introduce bilingual education, and 2500 elementary schools started English education from first grade, 2periods in a week. Just while ago, they just memorized dictionary as many as possible, but recently, they have tried to brush up communication skill. Chinese (their own language) ability has been deteriorating because of too much English education.
Singapore National languages→English, Chinese, Tamil, Malay Trilingual policy (English,Malay and mother tongue) → bilingual policy (English and mother tongue) All public school adopt English. Except “mother tongue class”, “social studies”, and “moral education”, they learn all subject in English. Especially first grade students have a lot of English class.
