Top Ten Points to Make • How is Carolina leading the way? • Integration of advising with academic support • Individualized academic plans • Holistic admissions review that involves faculty, advising, academic support, admissions specialists, athletics • Inclusion to a greater extent of student athletes in the process

  4. Top Ten Points to Make • How will Carolina lead the way? • Coalition with other academic/athletic leading universities • Strong voice in the ACC and NCAA for changes that will support the students and universities in their policies, philosophies, and programs

  5. The Faculty Athletics Committee along with others listed below reaffirms the principle that academic integrity  is inviolable. It is never acceptable for any person or unit to  compromise, or allow to be compromised, the integrity of the education, research, and service missions of the university. Faculty Athletics Committee Advisory Committee for the Academic Support Program for Student Athletes Subcommittee on Special Talent Admissions Michelle Brown, Assistant Provost and Director for the ASPSA Steve Farmer, Vice Provost for Enrollment and Undergraduate Admissions
