  2. A pipe is a tube-shaped section or hollow cylinder, usually but not necessarily of circularcross-section, used mainly to pass on substances which can flow, liquids and gases (fluids), slurries, powders and masses of small solids. A tube, or tubing, is a long empty cylinder used for moving fluids (liquids or gases) or to shield electrical or optical cables and wires.

  5. Admiralty Brass The combination of copper 69% zing 30% and tin 1% will result in admiralty brass. Admiralty Brass is a Copper Zinc Alloy, it contains small amount of arsenic and tin as well. These admiralty brass tubes are popular for their characteristic of superior corrosion resistance in a fairly polluted river water and clean seawater, either stagnant or slow moving water. The most common and produced form is tube for heat exchange equipment. These tubes are broadly used in various applications including vent condensers, water heaters, generator, evaporators, condensate coolers, heaters, air coolers, turbine oil coolers for petrochemical, desalinations plants, ship-building, power plants etc.  Moreover, Admiralty brass, which constitutes of 30% zinc, 1% tin and inhibits dezincification in most environments, is extensively used material in manufacturing tubes for the carrying out of liquids in the coolers and evaporators. Few of the characteristics that are required by this industry include; light weight, strength, corrosion-resistance tube, high thermal conductivity, durability and long lastingness.

  6. Alloy steel The steel that is alloyed with different elements which amounts between 1.0% and 50% by weight in order to improve its mechanical properties.  Alloy steels are made by combining carbon steel with one or several alloying elements, such as silicon, nickel, titanium, copper, chromium, manganese, and aluminum. These metals are added to manufacture specific properties that are not found in standard carbon steel. The elements are added in varying combinations making the material take on different aspects such as improved formability (ductility) increased hardness, increased corrosion resistance, increased strength and the weldability can also differ. The most important and desired changes in alloy steel are, Increased harden ability, Increased corrosion resistance, Retention of hardness and strength. Mostly all alloy steels require heat treatment in order to get their best properties.

  7. Aluminum Brass It is a mixture of Copper 77.5%, Zinc 20.5% and 2% aluminum. The Aluminum increases corrosion resistance. Aluminum brass tubes are highly received and one of the extensively used material for a variety of industrial applications. This alloy develops a shielding film that has self-healing properties. This film is dependent on oxygen, which is absorbed in the water and does not resume itself in polluted or stagnant water. High resistance to corrosion in clean seawater orInland condition is complicated. Aluminum Brass tubes confront the action of high velocity salt and brackish water. The outstanding quality of this alloy is its superior confrontation to impingement attack. High strength combine with good general corrosion resistance and low sensitivity to stress corrosion cracking of aluminum brass tubes make it a highly favored material for load bearing masonry fixings. Alluminumis added further to high copper brass for enhanced corrosion resistance. It is particularly used for condenser tubes. Alluminumbrass tubes are suggested for land power station and marine applications, where cooling water velocities are high. The exterior and stain resistance of aluminum brass makes it a material of choice for decorative architectural features.

  8. Carbon Steel The mixture of Iron and Carbon along with Manganese 1.65%, Silicon 0.60% will yield Carbon steel. Carbon steel, also known as plain carbon steel, is a metal alloy, which basically consists of iron and carbon. Besides these two elements, it also consists of other alloying elements like silicon, copper and manganese in quantities which are almost negligible. These products are abundantly used for various industrial applications, it is particularly used in boilers and heat exchangers. Few typical compositions of carbon steel are as follows:  Mild Carbon Steel (Low Carbon): It contains roughly 0.05-0.15% carbon material for low carbon steel and 0.16-0.29% carbon material for mild steel. Mild steel has a fairly low tensile strength, but it is low cost and flexible, surface hardness can be raised through carburizing. Medium Carbon Steel: Carbon content is around 0.30-0.59%. It has good wear resistance and balances ductility and strength, used for large parts, forging and automotive components. High Carbon Steel: Carbon content is around 0.6-0.99%. Since it is very strong it is used for springs and high-strength wires. Ultra-High Carbon Steel: It has around 1.0-2.0% carbon material. Widely used in non-industrial applications like knives, axles or punches.
