Invertebrate mobile Use the computer and your text to research the following information about your invertebrate: Kingdom, phylum, class Body structure Symmetry How they move External features Nervous systems (if present) Respiratory systems (if present) circulatory systems (if present) Lifestyles- life cycle Reproduction- reproductive system Habitat Feeding habits Prey How they catch food Special adaptations Place in the ecosystem food chain and role in their environment (niche) Affect on humans Special characteristics- collar cells, regenerations , defense, how they adapt to survive, water vascular system etc. Any other interesting information you find in your research

3/29 • What are characteristics of all animals? • What are the two main divisions of animals? • What is the main difference? • What phyla are in each? • What is regeneration? • What is budding. • What is the simplest invertebrate? • What is the most advanced invertebrate
Animals • snail • sponge • Sea anemone • Box jelly • Tapeworm • Planaria • Starfish • Squid • Octopus • Ascaris • Leech • Crayfish • Butterfly • Earthworm • Clam • Centipede • Millipede

Procedure • You will complete a mobile that must contain the following: • a hanging model of the front and back of your invertebrate • geometric shapes that explain each of the categories from the research portion • These must be organized appropriately and accurate • The front of the mobile must be covered with paper and labeled with the common name, kingdom, phylum and class. • At the end you will be responsible for presenting the information to the class
