You will have to remain in learning until you are at least 18. What does it mean for you?
No, but you do have to be in learning. This includes: • full-time education, such as school or college • work-based learning, such as an Apprenticeship • part-time education or training if you have a job or are self-employed or volunteering for more than 20 hours a week Does this mean you have to stay at school after year 11?
Until you are 19 you can study at school or college for free • After this you may have to pay • It is important that you make the most of any courses you might want to do while they are still free Education is free until you are 19
