  1. Ashylnn Connor Victim of Bullying December 2, 2000 – November 11, 2011

  2. Ashlynn Connor Ashlynn Connor was ten years old. She lived, and attended school, in Ridge Farm, Illinois. She was what many will call an all American girl. She loved cheerleading, stray cats, and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian one day. At school Ashylnn was bullied by her peers, and was called such names as fat, ugly, and slut. She didn’t even know what ‘slut’ meant. Ashlynn was bullied for 2 ongoing years until the taunted honor roll student decided to take her own life on November 11, 2011. Confused & lonely Ashlynn was found by her older sister hanging from a knitted scarf on a clothing rod in her bedroom closet. She is now upon the grace of god as she rests in peace away from the problems that drove her to her death.

  3. Bobby Tillman

  4. Bobby Tilman Bobby Tillman loved basketball and planned a career helping athletes. One day after starting off as a referee he was going to be a sports agent. At 124lbs his dreams were cut short when he was beaten to death by a group of male bullies who stated they were going to attack the next male student they saw. He was stomped to his death outside a house party so bad that one of his bones broke and pierced his heart. One person wrote on a facebook page that was created in his honor “out of 80 people at the party one person could have saved his life”. Bobby Tillman has found his place with god, and the other victims of bullying.

  5. Jaheem Herrera

  6. Jaheem Herrera Jaheem Herrera was greatly loved by his family. He loved to dance and engage in other fun activities. Although Jaheem also loved to make friends it seemed to him & his mother he was making enemies. On April 16 Jaheem woke up acting strangely. He wasn’t hungry and he didn’t want to go to school, which he attended in Dekalb County. Jaheem came home from school that day much happier than when he left earlier that morning. After giving his mother his outstanding report card he went upstairs as she prepared dinner. When his younger sister called him down to eat he didn’t answer, so the family retreated upstairs where they found only 11 year old Jaheem hanging by his belt in the closet. At school Jaheem was called names such as gay, ugly, and the virgin (because he was from the Virgin Islands). His mother attempted to help Jaheem with the problems occuring at school, and her last word to news reporters was “what I did wasn’t enough to save him”

  7. Close to Death Victoria Lindsay

  8. Victoria Lindsay Victoria Lindsay is 17 years old. On March 30, 2008 she was invited to a former friend’s house where she was ambushed by six other girls. The beating lasted for more than thirty minutes. In those thirty minutes she lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital with injuries. The attack was videotaped and was said to be a desperate way to get viewings on youtube. When Victoria’s parents arrived at the hospital they did not recognize their own daughter. She was huddled in bed with her knees to her chest. Although she was scarred physically the emotional scarring has been the worse. Eight teens were charged with kidnapping and misdemeanor battery charges. Victoria truly had an angel looking after her, and is glad to have her life.

  10. Conclusion May all the victims of bullying be under the grace of god. And to those who may be getting bullied now know that it is somebody out there who really & truly cares. Suicide is the easy way out. There may be times when you feel weak without knowing how strong you really are. To those who have been a defenseless target to assault, which also is considered bullying,
