  1. Teacher Education @ Brewton-Parker College A Mission-Centered Teacher Education Cohort

  2. What are the advantages of the cohort? • All of your classes from the very first day will be scheduled with other education majors. • Classes with content covered in GACE testing will be enriched to be sure you have studied what you'll be tested on. • You will develop a strong bond with the other education majors, creating a rich learning community as well as a natural support group. • The cost of this program and financial assistance are the same as if you did it on your own, but what you get from it is so much more.

  3. Share your skills with those who need you . . . . An added feature of this cohort program is that you and your classmates will participate together in a service project during Spring Break of your junior year.  You will travel with the BPC mission group to a carefully-selected location where your group will have its own project. Your team's project will be education-specific, allowing you to give your skills to children who need you. You will also be stretched outside your comfort zone, but with the support of familiar, seasoned people surrounding you.

  4. ACT NOW to secure your place in next fall’s cohort. Because cohort classes are limited to 20 each year, once the group has been formed, you may still be admitted to the college, and you would take the same courses, but would not be guaranteed the same class schedule as the cohort group.  If someone from the cohort group should drop out, others on the waiting list would move up according to their place on the list.

  5. Color your world with new possibilities! APPLY. NOW.
