Vision Coastal Monmouth Plan Economy- The CMR communities have been revitalized into vibrant, pedestrian friendly and sustainable centers of place with year round activity focused on tourism, arts, culture, and entertainment, natural resources and the Monmouth Jersey Shore. Housing - The CMR provides a wide range of housing choices serving all income levels including affordable sustainable housing. Regional Cooperation The CMR communities have engaged in an ongoing cooperative approach to comprehensively address regional issues. Environment - The CMR environment has improved water quality, reduced flooding, preserved and restored natural resources, expanded public parks and open space, and implemented sustainable development measures. Transportation - A multimodal transportation network provides alternative transportation options to serve the CMR in a manner that considers public safety, accessibility and quality of life.
