  2. What I need to do to earn an A on this project! Listen very closely to what I teach during the next 5-6 lessons? Take notes in your Science Journal. 2.Apply what you learn from those lessons to your selected state, country or area from the world map. 3. Be committed to spending some additional time outside of the classroom to extend your learning. 4. Ask questions and remember if it gets tough, don’t give up!

  3. What do I need to include in my research? I CAN QUESTIONS I can define the meaning of a biome. I can display and locate my state, country, or area on a world map. I can describe the specific and unique climate, terrain, animals and plants that can be found in my biome. I can identify producers, consumers, decomposers that can be found in my biome. I can categorize my consumers as herbivores, carnivores or omnivores. I can create a food chain that can represent my biome. I can create a food web that includes primary, secondary and top level consumers . I can create a food pyramid that would represent my biome.

  4. How can I organize my research? You can use your journal to write and answer each of the I can statements. You can create note cards with each I can statement. You can use the donut strategy and place the I can statement in the middle of the donut. Any other suggestions?
