  1. Vladivostok State Medical University . HAEMODYNAMIC INDICATORS OF OVERWEIGHT MEN

  2. Metabolic syndrome 15-20 % of population suffer from hypertension. This disease is one of the most common causes of death nowadays. There is the certain pathogenic connection between hypertension and overweight. Adiposity promotes the emergence of hypertension, and hypertension contributes to development of adiposity. The overweight affects either central haemodinamics or peripheral one.

  3. The purposes and research problems • The tasks: • to estimate indicators of • central haemodynamics • to estimate indicators of • preload and afterload • the condition of vessels The aim of work is to estimate the condition of circulatory dynamics by using the polireocardiography.

  4. Materials and methods 1 2 36 men were examined Average age – 38,7 ± 1,2 years Average growth – 165,5 ± 1,6 cmAverage weight – 87,6 ± 1,9 kg SBP – 130-160 mm Mc DBP – 90-100 mm Mc 37 men were examined Average age – 36,9 ± 1,2 years Average growth – 166,3 ± 1,4 cm Average weight – 70 ± 1,2 kg SBP – 100-120 mmMc DBP – 70-80 mm Mc 3 The study did’t include patients with coronary disease and chronic broncho-pulmonary diseases.

  5. Rheocardiography by Kubitschek(central haemodinamics) Cervical Chest Red Yellow Black

  6. Systolic blood pressure (SBP) Cardiac index (CI) indicators of central haemodynamic Central haemodynamic indicators Diastolic BP (DBP) Ejection rates (IF) MBP mean BP Total peripheral vascular resistance (TPVR ) Heart rate (HR) The specific peripheral vascular resistance (SPVR) Stroke index (SI) End diastolic pressure in the left ventricle (EDPLV)

  7. 1 5 2 4 3 V av mean velocity of slow filling SPAP systolic pulmonary artery pressure Т sist time of systole V max the maximum speed of rapid filling EDPPA end diastolic pressure in the pulmonary artery Peripheral hemodinamic indicators Hemodynamics of aorta and pulmonary trunk : The program ofStatistica 6.0

  8. The central haemodynamics

  9. Haemodinamics of aorta and pulmonary trunk Hemodynamics of aorta Hemodynamic of pulmonary artery

  10. Results • 1. People of experimental group had the critical reduction of cardiac index • (CI), left ventricular power (LVP), stroke index ( SI) and stroke volume of • blood (SVB). • Higher values of specific peripheral vascular resistance was found • in the experimental group of men, compared with the control one. • 3. There was a decrease preload and increase afterload (presented by • EDPLV and peripheral vascular resistance) of persons with overweight • and following figures of blood pressure (SBP 130 - 160 mm MC, • DBP 90 - 100 mm MC) • 4. The tone of arteries decreased and tone of small arterioles is normal.

  11. Conclusion Thus, the hemodynamic changes can serve as markers assessing the formation and progress of hypertension. Preventive measures should be aimed at reducing risk factors for development of blood pressure increase, namely, the stabilization of BP values, correction of nutritional status, with a view to normalizing the metabolic disorders and the avoidance of severe cardiovascular complications.

  12. Thank you for attention!
