Aerial cable is an insulated cable generally containing all the conductors necessary for a power transmission system or a telecommunication line, which is suspended between the poles or electricity pylons. Aerial self supported telecom distribution cables are an economical and reliable way to provide connections between the telephone exchanges and distribution points, especially in hilly and uneven terrain.

  3. Construction Configuration:Star Quads/PairsConductorSolid annealed bare copper wire of 0.4, 0.5, 0.63 or .9mm. Other sizes can be supplied on request.Solid polyethylene fully color coded. Cable Assembly- In units of 10 pairs upto 50 pairs cable.- In super units of 20/25pairs for 100 pair cable and above.- Units identified by color-coding of unit-binder.

  4. Use of Aerial Cables Aerial Cables are mainly used for telecommunication systems or for power transmissions with voltages below 1000 volts. Aerial cables used for power transmission from the transmitter building to the transmitter at radio stations.
