  3. These are the things you should look out for when choosing a collision repair shop: 1) Are they using the most recent tools? Today's cars have many computer components. These components are more sophisticated and must be properly diagnosed before any work can be done on them. Some vehicles are too expensive for smaller auto body shops to repair. Be prepared. 2) How does their repair shop look like? Look at the auto body shop and take a mental note of what you see. Do you see uniforms on employees? Are you able to see different types of tools for different purposes? Are you able to see everything in a neat and organized manner? A professional auto body shop that is well-organized and clean will be a better choice than one that has parts and tools scattered all over the place.

Your vehicle will sit in their shop waiting if they can't get the part they need. I've seen cars sitting in their shop for weeks because the auto body technician couldn't get the right part. It is crucial to have a large network of quality OEM parts suppliers. This can make a big difference in how long it takes for your vehicle to be fixed.
