What the system does as a whole? The patient billing and insurance module does the whole flow of a patient the daily care charge represents a portion of the costs for the day-to-day operation of the hospital. This module facilities billing and insurance operations for different categories of patient like Outpatient, Inpatient and other charges. It provides automatic posting of charges related to different services like bed charges, lab tests conducted, medicines issued, consultant’s fee, food, beverage and telephone charges etc. The daily care charge will be apportioned between patient and patient insurance. Patient billing and insurance they have billing statement of account for the settlement.

Transactions covered, queries, reports, special technologies The transaction covered by the system was only charging the patient with the deduction and also the doctors order for the patient. The queries that are including were the queries include all charges from In-patient, Out-patient, Laboratory, Radiology, and Pharmacy, The user issued all charges they have. Special technologies concerned with the system is that the system will be made up of JAVA and backend is SQL

Major difference from other similar systems The System is made up from Java. Other Systems are Based on C# and VB.net. The Proponents Implemented that the system should be able to interact other subsystems such as Patient in and out patient and general ledger, Laboratory, Radiology and pharmacy Module. User-friendliness.
