Physical characteristics • Size- 17-24 in. • Pelage- three layers • Appearance- brown • Made of- beaver, duck, otter • Feet- webbed Male/female differences- male bigger, male has stingers on ankle
Distribution • Australia • Habitat- lakes, rivers, streams

Reproduction • Happens in water • 2-3 babies • Happens in August- November • 2- 4 years old to breed
Parental care • 3-4 months • Babies stay warm in between tail and body of mom • Mom feeds baby until it can get food

Diet • Bugs, Insects • They eat by putting the food in their mouth along with rocks and storing them in their cheek pouches and slowly consuming it.
