Introduction to Sentryx 6.0 The Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Presentation presents changes made to the Spillman Public Safety software. • New, user-friendly architecture, designed to give you a modern interface with standardized features and tools. • The first of several major releases that will convert modules to the updated architecture.

  3. Sentryx 6.0 Screen Changes Some of the new features for Spillman Sentryx 6.0 screens include: • Standardized features and tools. • Partitioning available on more screens. • Tabs on screens to view associated records and information. • Improved searching capabilities.

  4. New File Capture Feature You can use the File Capture feature to: • Protect files with improved security. • Attach files through the Menu bar or the File icon on the toolbar. • Attach multiple files using a drag-and-drop operation.

  7. Administration Manager The Administration Manager allows you to manage all system settings in one central location. From this screen, an administrator can accomplish most of the standard administration functions of the Spillman system.

  9. Sentryx Agencies Feature The Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Agencies feature provides access to all Sentryx agencies.

  10. Code Table Admin Feature The Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Jail Code Table Administration feature provides access to all Sentryx code tables in one location.

  11. Partitioning Feature The Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Partitioning feature includes a new Partitioning screen that simplifies your agency’s security setup.

  12. System Privileges Feature The Spillman 6.0 System Privileges feature provides a new screen for viewing and working with system privileges.

  13. Users Feature The Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Users feature provides a way to manage your agency’s list of users.

  14. Settings Editor Feature The Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Settings feature provides a way to set and change system settings in the Spillman 6.0 software.

Sentryx Jail: Inmate List The Jail Inmate List is a list of all current inmates in the Jail system. • Sort the list of current inmates in the system. • Display a compact view of inmate names, locations, and levels. • Display an expanded view of inmate information. • Navigate to inmate records by clicking the provided hyperlink.

Sentryx Jail: Accounting The new Jail Accounting feature simplifies your agency’s accounting records. • View a log of every transaction from all accounts. • Search for and view all checks written from the system. • Input information for deposits, withdrawals, and transfers at the Inmate Transaction Dialog or the Transaction Dialog screens. • Partition all accounting screens.

Sentryx Jail: SAA Accounting You can set up your agency’s accounting system using the Bank Accounts, Master Accounts, and Transaction Type screens. • Track bank accounts, including name, account number, and routing number. • Allow or prohibit check printing per bank account. • Name each internal account.

Sentryx Jail: Admin Mode Admin Mode provides the ability to give partial administrator functionality to specific users within Sentryx. • Make certain fields on the screen required. • Determine whether data is visible. • Change the on-screen field label. • Delete records. • Force text to appear in uppercase.

Sentryx Jail: Inmate Flags Inmate Flags provides the ability to tag inmates with specific flags used to inform and warn your staff • Define custom inmate flags, including a description and special instructions. • Set an expiration date (optional) for the flag. • Display up to five flags in the standard Inmate Name block and up to 13 flags on the Inmate screen. • Format the flag instruction text as your agency desires.

  25. Sentryx Jail: Jail Merge The Jail Merge feature searches for and merges duplicate inmate records.

  26. Sentryx Jail: Assessments The new Jail Assessment feature replaces the current Risk Assessment, Initial Inmate Assessment, Medical Assessment, and Classification programs.

Sentryx Jail: Agency Billing The Agency Billing feature replaces the billing feature in the current software. • Bill agencies without tying the billing to an offense record. • Attach the billing agency to an agency record. • Store billing transactions in a log. • Verify if you want to end billing when you clear a bond or a sentence.

  28. Sentryx Jail: Areas The Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Jail Area feature allows you to organize your jail into specific areas of supervision, operation, or control.

  29. Sentryx Jail: Jail Location The Jail Location feature supports housing assignments and inmate movement in the Jail module.

  30. Sentryx Jail: Location Security Using the Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Location Security feature, you can assign a security classifications requirement to a jail location.

  31. Sentryx Jail: Movement The Spillman Sentryx Movement feature has several new enhancements to make it more usable.

  32. Sentryx Jail: Assign Housing The Spillman Sentryx 6.0 software includes a new Assign Housing screen with a tree menu location selector.

  33. Sentryx Jail: Booking Process A Booking Checklist screen has been added to help you ensure that all necessary steps are completed.

Sentryx Jail: Non-Custody Booking Add arrest and offense information to an individual without proceeding to a full booking. • Create a booking without adding a Name record. • View relevant booking information, arrest information, and related offenses on the same screen. • Create a Booking and an Arrest record. • Provide access to all Offense records.

  35. Sentryx Jail: Scheduled Events The Jail Scheduled Events feature includes an Event Viewer screen to display events for a selected date range.

  36. Sentryx Jail: Incident Jail Incident is a new feature used to track jail specific incidents.

  37. Sentryx Jail: Log The Log feature can still be used to record all the daily occurrences in the jail, but new enhancements have been added to make it more usable. • Access the Log screen from the Log tab on the Inmate screen. • Include multiple officers and inmates on the same log entry. • Display the related Jail Incident number.

  38. Sentryx Jail: Medical The Jail Inmate Medical screen provides a single screen for all medical information associated with a particular inmate.

  39. Medical: Medical Chart The new Medical Chart screen tracks inmate vital statistics, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.

  40. Medical: Medical Conditions The new Jail Inmate Medical Condition feature contains enhancements to the Medical History screen.

  41. Medical: Medical Events The new Medical Events feature identifies an event as a medical event. • View medical event information from the Event screen. • Add medical events as part of a jail event. • Predefine a fee schedule for doctors, hospitals, or pharmacies based on Medical Event types.

  42. Medical: Medications Use the Medication screen to add, modify, and delete an inmate’s medication requirements.

  43. Sentryx Jail: Arrest The new Arrest feature lets you add, modify, and delete arrest information.

  44. Sentryx Jail: Bonds The Bond screen is now a main screen in the software.

  45. Bonds: Bond Payments The Bond Payment feature in Sentryx 6.0 has been updated to simplify the bond payment process.

  46. Sentryx Jail: Booking Records The Booking screen is now separate from the Inmate record.

  47. Sentryx Jail: Commitments The new Commitments feature to schedule future commitments.

  48. Sentryx Jail: Holds The Holds feature in the Spillman Sentryx 6.0 Jail module includes enhancements to the current Holds system. • Restrict your users from releasing an inmate until a hold is cleared. • Search from any field on the Holds screen. • Create settings to allow only certain users access to clear holds.

  49. Sentryx Jail: Inmate Screen The new Jail Inmate screen is a new feature for the Jail module. It combines several different systems in the current Jail module and displays them in one location.
