  3. A. The Hand of Jesus (vs. 45) • sometimes healing – John 8:25 • sometimes blessing – John 18:15 • sometimes teaching – John 13 • sometimes disciplining – John 2:15 • here a hand of discipline – Mark 6:45

  4. B. The EYES of Jesus vs. 48 • Sea of Galilee • His physical eyes are closed - He prays (vs. 46) ; Luk 22:32 • His spiritual eyes are open- He watches (vs 48); • Today we need to unlearn, learn (e.g. get a better attitude, get our agenda straight) • Jesus today – Hebr.4:18; John 17:20

The VOICE of Jesus vs. 50 • sometimes brings healing – John 5 : 8 • sometimes brings forgiveness – John 23:34 • sometimes is authority – John 11 : 43 •sometimes condems – Luke 11:42-52 • sometimes encourages – Mark 6 : 50 • when did His voice speak? - Mark 6:48 • is still the same today - Hebrews 13:8

  6. Conclusion • The HAND of Jesus brings sometimes a storm in our life and cause pain. • The EYES of Jesus : His closed eyes pray for us. His open eyes see, watch over us. • The VOICE of Jesus stills the storm and brings peace to our troubled hearts. • Close with singing: “Only Believe”
