  1. Shading Blobs Op Art! By the http://worldexplorers.edublogs.org

  2. This PowerPoint will show you how to make Op art Shading Blobs. This PowerPoint go throw a step by step process to make a very effective by easy to make Shading Blobs. Optical illusions play tricks on your eyes Here are 2 example’s made by Laura and Phoebe! (many thanks to them)

  3. Step 1 First start by drawing a curved line across the paper. Make sure it looks like hills not a rollercoaster!

  4. Step 2 Next draw 8 or 9 dots across the line different spaces apart. Always make sure that there always is a dot close to the start and finish!

  5. Step 3 Then you connect the dots with bumps. The side ones will go of the edge but imagine that the paper keeps on going. When you are finished the lines will go of the paper but just pretend that the paper goes on and on and on. Once you have done one half of the paper then turn the paper round and do the other side.

  6. Step 4 This is what it looks like when it’s finished being drawn.

  7. Step 5 Colouring in time! Make sure you use colours that work together. Use 2 to 3 colours. When you are colouring in make sure to make the edges dark and it will slowly get lighter into the middle.

  8. Have Fun!
