  8. with modal verbs and infinitives • they can go before the modal verb (dovere volere potere) or after the infinitive • Voglio vederti = ti voglio vedere • posso baciarti? = ti posso baciare? • Devo aspettarlo = lo devo aspettare • pratica: 185 I

  9. in the passatoprossimo if lo, la, li, or le comes before the verb, the participio passato has to agree with it • Ho scritto la lettera e l’ho spedita. • Avete mangiato gli spaghetti? Si, li abbiamo mangiati. NB so far we’ve seen that kind of agreement only with essere • pratica: 186 J, K, L

  15. ATTENZIONE!! • Quando usiamo un verbo infinito, il pronome diretto si attacca alla fine del verbo! • Es.: • E` importante mangiare le verdure • E` importante mangiarle • Bisogna comprare il latte • Bisogna comprarlo

  16. ULTIMA OSSERVAZIONE Con i verbi dovere, potere evolere il pronome diretto puo` stare alla fine dell’infinito o prima del verbo coniugato Es.: Vuoi vedere il film? Si`,lo voglio vedere oppure Si`,voglio vederlo Devo finiregli spinaci? Si`, li devi finire oppure Si`,devi finirli Posso aprire la finestra? No, non la puoi aprire oppure No, non puoi aprirla
