  2. Data Entry Use • Following administration of the assessment(s) data will be entered into the state’s Extended Assessment database by QA07s • Data must be entered by the close of the data entry/assessment window as published by the ODE, currently listed as 4/13

  3. How to Access the site • Access via district secure website • SSID confirmation for each student • QA07 confirmation

  4. Entering data • Select assessment from a list of Extended Assessment possibilities • Elementary vs. Middle/high (Level) • Scaffold vs. Standard (Administration) • Enter data according to your clear scoring on the protocol • This is not the time to change data or to question what you meant 

  5. Functions • Enter information item by item • This will be supported by drop down menus • Each task is represented in its entirety as a means to verify that the appropriate assessment/task/level/administration has been accessed • You will have the opportunity to save information after each task

  6. Functions (continued) • Alerts • To indicate incomplete data • Possible errors • Indication of task progress • Where you left off • Which tasks/subjects have not been attempted • System will calculate totals for you

  7. Summary of differences • Last year: one screen per subject • This year: one screen per task • Last year: four selection options • This year: sixteen selection options • Last year: no running tally of progress in data entry • This year: running tally of progress in data entry • Last year: bubbles to select • This year: drop down menus

  8. Availability and Access • Approximately early to mid March • Demo video to show how to navigate throughout the screens

  9. Reporting • Reports from this system will be delayed this year in anticipation of standard setting based on student data • An explanation to be used to walk through the assessments with parents will be available via the site
