  5. Part 2 – THE EARTH’S CLIMATES • What are the different climates on Earth? • What makes the different climates on Earth? • Use a clamp lamp and the globe to discuss and explain why we have different climates on Earth.

  7. CLIMATE MAP • Look for patterns of Warm, Cold, Wet, and Dry. • Explain how the tilt of the Earth and heating by the sun are responsible for different climates on Earth. Look for: TROPICAL - Green TEMPERATE –Blue/Kakki POLAR - White DESERT – Tan/Yellow
