  1. Jesus is the teacher of all, our Teacher. He knows what is in each person. He is not deceived by our miseries and weaknesses. He knows very well what an abyss of evil there can be in every heart. But he also knows, better than we do, the possibilities of generosity, of sacrifice, of greatness which also exists in every heart, and he can arouse them with his word. The teaching of Christ affects the whole man in the core of his being. He is a teacher with a knowledge that he alone possesses — the knowledge of unlimited love for God and, in God, for all men.

  20. TO OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS There's a time and a place that's special each week,Where we're eager to learn of the Word that we seek. The lessons are studied and scripture is readBut let us go back a few days, instead. Your week is so busy and filled with "to do's"Like everyone else not a minute to lose. Your family, your business, work never endingYour precious few moments you're ever still lending. But you make the time to prepare for SundayWhen you know someone will listen to the words that you say. So with God's special guidance, with prayer and with timeYou prepare for each Sunday, the Word we can find. Thank you for giving us an hour each weekKnowing it is the Word of the Lord that we seek. And today we are blessed and grow more each dayBecause you dedicate your love to the Lord in this way. We wouldn't have Sunday School if it weren't for you. So today we say thank you for all that you do.
