  2. WHAT IS KRONOS ? A time and attendance system used to record employee start and end times. Allows you to view and manage employee attendance daily, minimizing attendance problems. FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

  3. RECORDING TIME FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY • Time is recorded in one of three ways: • Login to a Time Clock using Touch ID, Punch in and out • Login to a computer, Punch in and out • Login to a Smart Phone, Punch in and out (Off Site Only)

  4. MANAGERS DAILY TASKS FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY • Ensure accuracy of schedule • Resolve exceptions (missed punches) • Resolve requests for leave (approve or deny)

  7. EMPLOYEE TIMECARD FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Red outlined boxes represent times not scheduled.

  8. FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY EMPLOYEE TIMECARD Solid red boxes represent missed punches. Missed punches must be corrected to pay staff correctly.

  9. FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY EMPLOYEE TIMECARD Timecards must be approved by employee and manger.

FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY APPROVE PTO Click on Schedule EditorSelect Time Period you are approving time off forClick on “Request for” drop down, select Time-Off Click on “Status” drop down, select Submitted Click on Reload Right click on each request, select approved or refused Click Save

  14. FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY REQUEST PTO Click My Information, Click My Request. Click Time-Off.Enter start date, start time, and duration. Click Time Off paycode.Click Submit

  15. FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DELEGATE AUTHORITY Click General, Click Actions.Click Mgr Delegation.Select Manager, enter start and end dates, Click Save & Close.The Manager you selected will receive an accept or decline email.

  16. FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ACCEPT/DECLINE DELEGATE AUTHORITY Click General, Click Inbox.Click Tasks, click on the task, Click Edit, Click Approve or Decline.The Manager that selected you will receive an accept or decline email.

  17. FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY REMOVE EXISTING DELEGATION Click General, Click ActionsClick Mgr_DelegationClick Remove Existing DelegationClick Next, Click DeleteThe Manager you deleted delegation for will receive a verification email.

HOW TO ENROLL EMPLOYEES ON TIMECLOCK • When the terminal beeps and displays a score, the employee can remove their finger from the sensor. • What happens next depends on the following:- If the enrollment failed, press the Redo Enroll soft key and try again. - If the Quality score is less than 40, or the Content score is less than 20, you see “Poor Enrollment – Retry.” Press Redo Enroll and try again.If the Quality score is between 40-60 or the Content score is between 20-60, you see “Fair Enrollment—Retry Suggested.” Press Redo Enroll and try again.If the Quality and the Content scores are greater than 60, you see “Good Enrollment.” Go to the next step. • Press Accept Enroll. The Test Enrollment screen appears. Press the Test Enrollment soft key and ask the employee to place their finger on the sensor. Remind the employee to place their finger in the same way, consistently, every time. • The terminal compares the finger scan template that you previously captured with the image that is now on the sensor. When the terminal beeps and displays a score, the employee can remove their finger. • To accept the enrollment, press Accept Enroll. The employee’s finger scan template is stored in the verification device. You can now enroll a secondary finger. (Kronos recommends enrolling both a primary and secondary finger at the same verification device.) • If the test fails, the terminal displays three options. • Access Manager mode. The terminal displays Manager mode soft keys. • Press the Enroll Employee soft key. The terminal prompts you to enter the employee’s badge. • Enter the employee’s badge. The terminal displays the Enrollment screen. Enrolling Fallon, J Test Failed (Low Score)Current Threshold: NormalScore: 24 Enrolling Fallon, J Primary Finger: No Selection Retry Test  Select from Keypad:0-left index 5-right index1-left middle 6-right middle2-left ring 7-right ring3-left thumb 8-right thumb4-left pinky 9-right pinky Set Threshold  Redo Enroll  Press ENTER To Confirm Selection • To retry the test, press Retry Test. If the employee continues to fail the test, redo the enrollment.To change the threshold, press Set Threshold. The terminal displays the following options: Low and None. Select Low.To redo the enrollment, press Redo Enroll. • Select a finger, avoiding the thumb or pinky, and press ENTER. The ENROLL soft key appears. • Press the ENROLL soft key. The terminal beeps three times and prompts the employee to place their finger on the sensor. Remind the employee to use the Lock, Drop and Hold method when they place their finger on the sensor. Enrolling Fallon, J Capture: SUCCESSFULQuality Score: 62Content Score: 99Threshold: NORMALGood EnrollmentPress “Test Enrollment” key and putright index finger on the sensor. About Lowering the ThresholdIf an employee consistently obtains a low or failing score when you test their enrollment, you can lower their threshold at the terminal. Use this option as a last resort, after you have tried all other recommendations. If an employee consistently has problems verifying at the terminal after enrollment, lower the threshold from your Kronos Touch ID software application.  Redo Enroll Test Enrollment 

SHORTCUTS, TIPS & REMINDERS FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY • Hold cursor over employee name to see employee information • Orange title means your changes have not been saved • Setup schedules for your staff • Deadline reminders will be sent out via email • Approve your timecard by Sunday midnight, before Friday payday • Approve your staff’s timecards by Tuesday midnight, before Friday payday • Approve all timecards with or without time worked • Check time period you are working in. • Approve timecards for hourly staff in PREVIOUS PAYPERIOD • Approve timecards for salary staff in CURRENT PAYPERIOD
