Investigation & Treatment Dept. of Social Work (DSW) • Investigate, case manage, and provide treatment for all allegations of child abuse and neglect and spouse abuse cases involving Soldiers and Family members as well as allegations that occur in DoD sanctioned activities. • Location: Tripler and Schofield Barracks Health Clinic Embedded Social Worker at the SB MP (limited) DSW Chief: COL Derrick Arincorayan (Tel. 433-6606) FAP Chief: LTC Fong (Tel. 433-5789)

Victim Advocacy Program • 24/7 Hotline - 624-SAFE • Safety (Primary) and Advocacy • Restricted/Unrestricted Reports • Transitional Compensation for Victims of Family Violence • Emergency (Safety) Temporary Shelter and/or referrals to longer term safehouse/shelter.
Reporting Procedures • RPOC for all reports of Child or Spouse Abuse is Military Police • 655-7114 for Schofield/WAAF/HMR • 438-7114 for Ft. Shafter/AMR/TAMC • Also contact Child Welfare Services: 832-5300 for Child Abuse
Transitional Compensation • Paid when Service Member is separated from Army due to an issue of Family violence • 3 years of TC (Recent Change) • Terminated if couple reconciles • Must be married at time of incident and eligible children must be in home at time of the incident(s) • Includes ID cards, Medical and Dental benefits and access to exchanges/commissaries • Spouse not eligible if co-offender • Spouse must re-verify eligibility annually • Application Process.
