  1. Skeleton the most dangerous sport in the olympics

  2. Skeleton • skeleton is one of the most dangerous sports you can play in the winter Olympics. it is very dangerous because you are going head first down a curly and bumpy track 135km/hour. This sport is very strict, if an athlete is seen to be trying to slow down they are disqualified . this sport is run by timing and judges to see if your cheating or trying to slow down. Skeleton is played on the same track as luge plays on. Since they are similar but not Quite the same

  3. The difference between luge and skeleton • Luge is facing feet first and skeleton is head first- • Skeleton sleds are a lot heavier than luge sleds • In skeleton there is 2 events: Men's and ladies and in luge there are 4, Men's single and double and ladies single’s and double’s • In luge you can have more than 1 person racing

  4. Equipment • Helmet. All competitors must wear helmets, which are hard plastic and equipped with a chin guard and visor. • Sled. The sled is made of two runners. The frame must be constructed of steel. The same sled must be used in all the heats of the competition. It may weigh no more than 43kg for men and 35kg for women. • Shoes . They are made of synthetic material and have spikes on the soles for traction during the start push and a harder part on the toe for protection and braking. • Racing Suit. The racing suit is a tight-fitting bodysuit made of elastic fabric that may have padding sewn into the elbows. It is made of special material to promote aerodynamics • Bumpers. Front and rear bumpers absorb shocks and protect the athlete from the wall. • Gloves. These are usually made of leather and worn for protection

  5. Our Australian winter Olympic skeleton competitors These people are the people that competed in skeleton at the sochi 2014 winter Olympics. • Michelle Steele • John farrow • Lucy chaffer Unfortunately none of these talented competitors won Australia a medal

  6. How do you win skeleton Skeleton is not judged by a judge it is judged by time . So the winner is the person with the fastest time. There is judges though there are judges to see if they put there foot down to try slow down if the judges see that they are disqualified.

  7. by Marnie rose Holman thankyou

  8. Fantastic work Marnie. Wonderful information and great presentation. Perhaps some sound would be good too. But overall, well done. • Quite a few spelling mistakes to fix, look for the S boxes and fix, then resave into Collaboration folder. • You also need to cite where the information came from. But overall, very well done. 20/5/14
